6-for-7 Game for Hall Saturday, May 2nd , 2026 It was a good day for the Snappers at Quad Cities Stadium as they clipped the Quad Cities River Bandits, 17-8. It was tremendous day for Pete Hall, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 6-for-7. "I don't know what to call that," the Beloit center fielder told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Pete Hall singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mickey Shearer in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 23 games Hall is hitting .341 this season with 28 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs, 4 walks, .372 OBP and has scored 16 runs. |
