Monro Too Tough, Blanks Lake County Sunday, September 14th , 2025 Dave Monro kept the Lake County Captains hitters from doing much damage at Snappers Field. Lake County could only muster 5 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Monro, who controlled them throughout the game. Beloit won the contest, 2-0. Monro added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Monro told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." For the year, Monro has a 0-3 record with a 3.00 ERA in 1 starts. |
