Lake County Crowned Kings of the East Monday, September 8th , 2025 Alex Roman said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Lake County Captains teammates were so excited to celebrate their East championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 81-59 record on the season. It is the club's 1st East championship and puts them in position for their 1st Midwest League championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Brian Musick said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
