The Snappers third baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Snappers Field to lead his club past the Cedar Rapids Kernels. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Jason Ewell hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jerry Mitchell in the 8th.
