5 Hits for TinCaps Jarema Sunday, August 17th , 2025 It was high-fives all around for Ernie Jarema at Great Lakes Stadium. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Great Lakes Loons. Jarema smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 5-2 win. "Ernie was hitting everything," said TinCaps manager Ronnie Williams. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Loons manager Justin Banton told BNN beat writers that Jarema "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Jarema oversleeps next time." Ernie Jarema singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
