Chase Shepard Captures MID Award Monday, August 4th , 2025 Chase Shepard is respected by most Lansing Lugnuts fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Midwest League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .545 average (12-for-22) with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season, Shepard is hitting .358 with 13 home runs. |
