Relief Star Wins MID Top Pitcher Honors Friday, August 1st , 2025 One of the Midwest League's hottest pitchers last month did his work late. Beloit reliever Felipe Zuniga held opponents to a .246 average and was named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Month today. Zuniga rolled out 11 saves in 11 save opportunities and a 1-1 mark with 17 strikeouts in 17.1 innings. For the month he had a 0.00 ERA. This season, Zuniga has 30 saves. In 43 relief appearances he has tossed 51.1 innings, struck out 56 and issued 16 walks with a 4-3 record.
