All week Dustin Gilman of the West Michigan Whitecaps shocked opponents with an electrifying performance to capture the Midwest League Player of the Week honors. The talented first baseman sparked his team by hitting .552 with no home runs, 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Thus far this season in 90 games, Gilman is batting .322 with 8 home runs, 54 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 106 hits in 329 at-bats. |
