Guzman Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Saturday, July 12th , 2025 Jordan Guzman has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Lansing Lugnuts right fielder extended his streak to 20 games, going 2-for-4 as Lansing got the best of the South Bend Cubs at Wrigley Field, 13-4. "Jordan has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Lugnuts manager Jason Janzen said. Jordan Guzman flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th and flied out in the 6th. So far this season, Guzman has 9 home runs and a .345 batting average. |
