Midwest League Picks Top Performer Monday, July 7th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jeff Travis was in a class by himself in the Midwest League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Lake County tagged opposing pitchers for a .478 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 6 homers, 7 runs scored and 10 RBIs. Looking at his season stats, Travis has compiled a .425 batting average and a .489 on-base percentage, while hitting 9 home runs and driving in 20 runs. |
