Formosinho Batters Cedar Rapids Big Time Sunday, July 6th , 2025 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Peoria's Narciso Formosinho made it happen against the Kernels. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Chiefs triumph, 11-10, at Chiefs Grounds. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Formosinho said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Narciso Formosinho doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. To date, Formosinho has collected 36 hits for a .340 average. He has posted 1 home run, scored 15 runs and driven in 10 runs. |
