He hurled the Peoria Chiefs to a 3-0 shutout victory, yielded 6 hits and chalked up 6 strikeouts and no walks. "A complete-game shutout is fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen." This year, Street has worked 38.1 innings with 23 strikeouts en route to a 3-2 record and a 3.52 ERA. |
