Phegley Baffles Beloit Batters Wednesday, June 4th , 2025 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Beloit Snappers as starter Tommy Phegley shut them out, 5-0, at Wrigley Field. The South Bend pitcher struck out 7 and walked 0 while allowing 4 hits. "Phegley was good but he wasn't flawless," Beloit manager Bobby Ricketts said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from South Bend, but this is on us." |
