Pierce Snares MID Top Batter Award in May Sunday, June 1st , 2025 At only 18 years of age, David Pierce could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Lansing Lugnuts, as May was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Midwest League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .394 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Pierce currently has a .366 batting average with 64 hits, 6 homers, 32 RBIs, 26 runs scored and a .429 OBP. |
