EL's Top Player Named Monday, May 26th , 2025 Hector Herrera is respected by most Hartford Yard Goats fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old catcher went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Eastern League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .538 average (7-for-13) with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year in 21 games, Herrera is hitting .333 with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
