EL Announces Best Pitcher for May

The top-rated pitcher in the Eastern League this month was New Hampshire Fisher Cats reliever Kyle Ribordy. He won the league's premier pitcher award for May by saving 8 games in 8 save opportunities.

Altoona's Deubler Bags EL Top Batter for May

It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21 David Deubler has a lot of baseball ahead of him.
But for now the young Altoona Curve star can enjoy the numbers he put up in May, which have garnered him the nod as the Eastern League Batter of the Month.
His breakout month featured a .385 average with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
This year, Deubler is hitting .367 with 9 home runs.
