Reading's Argueta EL Star of the Week Monday, May 12th , 2025 It was an extraordinary week for Jose Argueta of the Reading Fightin Phils. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .600, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Eastern League. Last week Argueta went 15-for-25, racked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Reading first baseman. This year, Argueta is hitting .433, produced 16 RBIs and 6 home runs, scored 16 times and gotten on base at a .485 rate. |
