Bowie Draws Blanks Against Vasquez Tuesday, May 19th , 2026 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Bowie Baysox as starter Ernesto Vasquez shut them out, 10-0, at Sea Dogs Ballpark. The Portland pitcher struck out 3 and walked 2 while allowing 4 hits. "Vasquez was good but he wasn't flawless," Bowie manager Danny Hostutler said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Portland, but this is on us." Vasquez has a 4-2 season record so far. In 8 starts, he has fanned 44 batters in 51.2 innings with a 3.66 ERA. |
