Reading-New Hampshire Fight Results in Suspensions Thursday, April 30th , 2026 Mario Ortiz of the Reading Fightin Phils and Joe Albrecht of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Fightin Phils-Fisher Cats game at Fightin Phils Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Ortiz and Albrecht will begin serving them soon. For the year, Ortiz is batting .215 with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Albrecht has fashioned a 3-0 mark for the season, 3.51 ERA and thrown 25.2 innings in 5 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .268 against him. |
