Reading-Richmond Brawl, Argueta and McConnell Suspended Wednesday, August 6th , 2025 Jose Argueta of the Reading Fightin Phils and John McConnell of the Richmond Flying Squirrels will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Fightin Phils-Flying Squirrels game at Ballpark of Richmond. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Argueta and McConnell will begin serving them soon. This season, Argueta has hit at a .297 clip with 49 RBIs, 13 home runs and 53 runs scored. |
