6-for-6 Day for Sellers Monday, July 28th , 2025 Pat Sellers was unstoppable, but the Akron RubberDucks were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Binghamton Fields, the RubberDucks lost, 9-8, to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Sellers battered Binghamton for 6 hits in 6 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Sellers just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Pat Sellers doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Brad Holmes in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. At present, Sellers is batting .324 and has collected 2 home runs, 11 RBIs, .372 OBP and scored 20 runs. |
