Sellers on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Monday, July 28th , 2025 Pat Sellers saw a spectacular performance go to waste in his club's 9-8 loss to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at Binghamton Fields. The Akron RubberDucks right fielder had 4 RBI and went 6-for-6, including hitting for the cycle, but his club went down to defeat anyway. "Everything they threw him, he was swatting around the field," said the Akron skipper David Lindquist. "It really was a special performance for Pat. It's a shame we couldn't win the game, too." Pat Sellers doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Brad Holmes in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. Looking at his stats this year, Sellers has compiled a .324 batting average, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 11 runs. He has played in 41 games and scored 20 runs. |
