Sea Dogs Pitching Ravaged by Wheat Wednesday, July 23rd , 2025 Hartford Yard Goats third baseman Aaron Wheat really lit up the Portland Sea Dogs with a 5-hit barrage at Ballpark of Hartford -- a performance that sparked the Yard Goats to a 4-3 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Aaron Wheat hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Currently Wheat is batting .363 with 3 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
