Keen and Poore Suspended, Out 4 Games Thursday, July 17th , 2025 One player challenged the other with some angry words at the Baysox-Rumble Ponies game at Binghamton Fields yesterday. There was some pushing and shoving -- then the dugouts emptied. There was a lot of scuffling, but no punches thrown. When order was finally restored and the dust settled, the umpires ejected Bowie's Ben Keen and Binghamton's Dave Poore. Now both antagonists will get some time off, courtesy of the league commissioner. They were suspended 4 games for inappropriate and aggressive behavior. This year, Keen has hit at a .274 clip with 17 RBIs, 3 home runs and 31 runs scored. Poore has taken the mound for 9 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 4.63 ERA. The Binghamton reliever has limited opposing batters to a .286 batting average. |
