Cushman Strokes 6 Hits Friday, June 27th , 2025 All game long, Akron's Danny Cushman was rattling the walls at Curve Grove and banging out base hits against the Altoona Curve. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 6-hit day and the RubberDucks had a win, 7-4. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 23-year-old left fielder said, "Get 6 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Danny Cushman hit a solo-shot off John King in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and singled in the 10th. |
