Freeman Sizzles with 25-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, June 10th , 2025 The Somerset Patriots fell to the Hartford Yard Goats in Ballpark of Hartford, even as 21-year-old shortstop Jason Freeman upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games. Freeman finished with 2 hits in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the Patriots from dropping the 4-2 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Freeman. Jason Freeman struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far this year, Freeman is hitting .293 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
