Brooks Selected Top Player Monday, June 9th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, J.J. Brooks was in a class by himself in the Eastern League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding catcher for Somerset tagged opposing pitchers for a .462 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 homers, 8 runs scored and 11 RBIs. This season, Brooks is hitting at a .293 pace with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 16 times. |
