Freeman Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games

The number just keeps getting higher.
Somerset shortstop Jason Freeman has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 3 at-bats as the Somerset won the game, 7-6, over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Patriots Grove.
"Who knows how long it will go on?" New Hampshire manager Marcos Ochoa said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Jason Freeman grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th and walked in the 6th.
For the season, Freeman has hit .297 with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. He has played in 35 games and scored 28 times.
