Rupert Rips Northwest Arkansas for 5 Hits Friday, May 2nd , 2025 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Frank Rupert -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Naturals Ballpark and paced the 14-9 RoughRiders win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. After his dynamite batting performance, the Frisco third baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Frank Rupert flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This season, Rupert is batting .294 with 15 hits, no home runs, 2 RBIs, 2 walks, .333 OBP and has scored 9 runs. He has played in 17 games. |
