French Snags TEX Batting Honor in May Monday, June 1st , 2026 Ryan French is in the final year of his contract with Midland and today added a timely piece of hardware to his trophy case. Playing in 26 games in May the 26-year-old third baseman ripped Texas League pitchers for a .330 batting average, nabbing him the Batter of the Month award. He also rang up 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 21 runs scored. If French keeps up this pace, he'll cost someone a lot of money. At present, French is batting .341 with 61 hits and 10 home runs. He has knocked in 32 runs and scored 36 times. |
