Brewer on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Springfield Thursday, April 16th , 2026 It was a great day at the plate for Ryan Brewer. For his Tulsa Drillers, the day was not nearly as good. The left fielder collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Springfield Cardinals snatched the victory, topping the Drillers by a score of 7-6. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Brewer said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Ryan Brewer singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Brewer is currently batting .385 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and 1 run scored. He has 5 hits in 13 at-bats. |
