It's Over! Midland Defeats Northwest Arkansas Thursday, September 18th , 2025 This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Midland RockHounds were shedding tears of joy and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals those of sorrow. The RockHounds topped the Naturals today 6-5 at RockHounds Stadium and locked up their 1st Texas League Round 1 championship, winning the series 4-2. "To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said Northwest Arkansas manager Karl Maille. The RockHounds finished the regular season in the South Division with a 92-48 record, ending up in first place in the division standings. |
