Injury Shuts Down Crawford for Season Friday, September 5th , 2025 Bill Crawford had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Northwest Arkansas medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Northwest Arkansas starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year.
