Great Day for Davis -- 5 Hits Thursday, July 31st , 2025 5 times is the charm -- at least for Bill Davis. The Northwest Arkansas Naturals third baseman tore up the Arkansas Travelers to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Naturals Ballpark. The offensive onslaught from Davis powered the 9-7 Naturals win. "Davis was a tough out," Arkansas manager Jack Kent said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Bill Davis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Rodriguez in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this year, Davis has hit .338 with 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
