Coyne Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, July 25th , 2025 Mike Coyne continued his streak at Naturals Ballpark, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Northwest Arkansas right fielder was 3-for-5 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Naturals were not as fortunate, losing, 6-5, to the Frisco RoughRiders. "Coyne was hitting everything we threw at him," said Frisco manager Sean Wright. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Mike Coyne singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. Coyne is batting at a .286 pace this season, picking up 69 hits in 241 at-bats with 11 home runs, 36 RBIs and 52 runs scored. |
