Collins Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, July 23rd , 2025 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Northwest Arkansas's 15-9 win over Springfield, first baseman Brian Collins was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Busch Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Collins said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Brian Collins singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
