Whitton Wins TEX Honor Monday, July 14th , 2025 One of the league's most exciting young players, Justin Whitton of the San Antonio Missions earned himself Texas League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old left fielder had a lofty .444 average (12-for-27), collecting 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this year, Whitton is hitting .351 with 9 home runs, 42 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
