Reyer 5-for-5 for San Antonio Sunday, July 6th , 2025 It was a sensational day at the plate for Ryan Reyer as he led the charge to a nifty 11-1 win over the Hooks. The San Antonio third baseman was pure misery for the Corpus Christi pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Reyer put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Jose Bolanos, manager for the Hooks, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Ryan Reyer hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th. During the current season Reyer is batting at a .325 clip with 7 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 46 games and scored 27 times. |
