Parisi Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Rochester Tuesday, May 13th , 2025 It was a doubly miserable day for Jason Parisi of the Omaha Storm Chasers, as he saw his 24-game hitting streak end and his team lose, 6-1, to the Rochester Red Wings at Rochester Stadium. The 23-year-old catcher was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Red Wings. "Anyone on a 24-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Rochester manager Greg Weaver said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." A look at his season totals shows Parisi with 2 home runs, .427 BA, .439 OBP, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. |
