Bats No Match for Smith, Saints in 15-0 Thumping Monday, April 28th , 2025 St. Paul Saints starter Jeremy Smith really did a number on the Louisville Bats, shutting them out, 15-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 6 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Louisville manager Billy Follis. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Smith." |
