Injury Sidelines Williams for Season Wednesday, May 27th , 2026 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Nashville's Will Williams to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 05/23/2026 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Williams said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Williams has been out of action since he suffered bone chips in his elbow. Williams's record this season is 2-and-0 with 2 saves and a 3.21 ERA.
