Hit Streak for Messmer Reaches 25 Tuesday, April 28th , 2026 The hot bat of Bulls second baseman Pat Messmer continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 2-for-4 in today's 9-0 loss to the Bats at Louisville Grounds. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Pat Messmer flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. For the season, Messmer is hitting .380, batted in 10 runs with 2 home runs and 14 runs scored. |
