The number just keeps getting higher.

Louisville second baseman James Rak has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Louisville won the game, 3-1, over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Jumbo Shrimp Grove.

"Who knows how long it will go on?" Jacksonville manager John Boatwright said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now."
James Rak struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.

This year, Rak is hitting .365, produced 2 RBIs and 0 home runs, scored 5 times and gotten on base at a .443 rate.
