Messmer Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Tuesday, April 21st , 2026 Pat Messmer of the Durham Bulls extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 2 hits in today's 4-3 triumph over the Rochester Red Wings at Rochester Stadium. "Pat has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Bulls manager Marco Saborio joked after the game.
