Durham's Jose Casillas Suffers Setback Tuesday, September 30th , 2025 Things have gotten worse for Jose Casillas of the Durham Bulls. The 22-year-old first baseman will not be back as soon as originally expected. Casillas is undergoing treatment for a sore wrist, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 2 weeks. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Jose tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." In 2025 Casillas has hit at a .277 clip with 130 hits, 12 home runs, 61 RBIs and has scored 64 times. |
