Worcester Wins Round 2 Saturday, September 27th , 2025 The sweet swing of Jared Caputo has led his team through the Round 2. The Worcester Red Sox star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Durham Bulls to advance to the Round 3. The Red Sox won the final game at Fenway Park by a score of 4-1 and the series 4-1. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Caputo. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Caputo hit .400 with a .478 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Worcester Red Sox will play against the Omaha Storm Chasers in the next round. Omaha won their series against the Rochester Red Wings 4 games to 0. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
