Storm Chasers Dominate, Sweep Round 2 Friday, September 26th , 2025 The Omaha Storm Chasers had all facets of their game going and have swept the Rochester Red Wings in the Round 2. Omaha now heads off to the Round 3, after wrapping up the series with a 4-1 win. Eric Welniak was named MVP, as he put up a .389 batting average, with a .450 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Omaha Storm Chasers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Durham Bulls - Worcester Red Sox series. Worcester leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
