Rochester Moves on to Round 2 Saturday, September 20th , 2025 The Round 3 hopes remain strong for the Rochester Red Wings. The team tonight eliminated the Indianapolis Indians with a 2-1 win, to capture the Round 1 4-2. "We're rolling now," said Hector Roman, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the Round 2." The standout offensive performance from Roman included a .391 batting average, .440 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 3 RBI and 6 runs scored. The Rochester Red Wings will play against the Omaha Storm Chasers in the next round. Omaha won their series against the Scranton WB RailRiders 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
