Storm Chasers Move on to Round 2 Saturday, September 20th , 2025 The Omaha Storm Chasers have advanced to the Round 2, with a 6-1 triumph at RailRiders Park over the Scranton WB RailRiders. The win sealed a 4-2 series win for Omaha. The series MVP honor went to Storm Chasers center fielder Eric Welniak. "It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Welniak said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on." The Omaha Storm Chasers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Rochester Red Wings - Indianapolis Indians series. Rochester leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
