Durham Wins Round 1 Thursday, September 18th , 2025 The Round 3 hopes remain strong for the Durham Bulls. The team tonight eliminated the Gwinnett Stripers with a 8-1 win, to capture the Round 1 4-1. "We're rolling now," said Mike Carrasco, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the Round 2." The standout offensive performance from Carrasco included a .500 batting average, .500 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 3 RBI and 4 runs scored. The Durham Bulls will play against the Worcester Red Sox in the next round. Worcester won their series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
